What substances are removed from the water?

Limescale, pesticides, heavy metals, PFAS, nitrates and other pollutants that usually enter groundwater from industry, urban areas and consumer goods.

How does it filter the water?

The filter consists of activated carbon, which attracts and binds organic substances to the surface as water passes through the filter. In other words, impurities get trapped on the carbon and only clean water flows through. Activated carbon has a large surface area (up to 2,000 m²/g) and millions of microscopic pores that allow for high absorption. Once these pores are filled, it is necessary to replace the filter – usually every three months.
